Matt Garber

Matt Garber is a Senior Associate at PGP, where he advises healthcare companies and physician groups on private equity partnerships and strategic transactions. He works closely with clients throughout all stages of the transaction process, including financial analysis, preparation of marketing materials, buyer outreach, due diligence, negotiations, and coordination among key stakeholders. Matt plays a central role in managing day-to-day transaction execution, serving as an extension of the client’s management team and helping drive processes efficiently from preparation through closing.

Matt joined PGP after graduation in 2023 and has spent his whole career with the firm. He decided to join PGP because of their reputation, healthcare focus, and high deal volume. Throughout his career at PGP, he’s completed over 10 transactions.

Matt is from Westport, Connecticut. During his downtime, he enjoys cooking, playing lacrosse, and going for long walks while eating pastries.

Matt graduated from Boston University with a master’s degree in business analytics and a bachelor’s degree in finance, while playing on its Division I lacrosse team.
