Sameer Datla

Sameer Datla is a Vice President at PGP, where he advises healthcare companies and physician groups on private equity partnerships and strategic transactions. Sameer works closely with clients and senior leadership throughout the transaction process, providing strategic guidance, overseeing transaction execution, and helping clients navigate key decisions from initial preparation through closing. His responsibilities include managing financial analysis, marketing materials, buyer outreach, due diligence, negotiations, and coordination among key stakeholders. Sameer serves as a trusted extension of the client’s management team, helping lead transaction processes and ensure they are executed efficiently and successfully.

Prior to joining PGP, Sameer held investment banking roles at Piper Sandler, William Blair, and Moelis & Company. He also worked in Corporate Development at Duly Health and Care (one of the largest independent, multi-specialty physician platforms). He joined PGP for its best-in-class healthcare services M&A team, bringing his broad experience from global investment banks to provide business owners with unconflicted, sophisticated guidance.

Sameer is from Naperville, Illinois. Outside of work, he enjoys following Chicago sports, playing golf, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.

Sameer graduated from Northwestern University with majors in Economics and Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences (MMSS).
