James Perrone

James Perrone is a Director at PGP, where he advises healthcare companies and physician groups on private equity partnerships and strategic transactions. James works closely with business owners, management teams, and senior stakeholders to shape transaction strategy, evaluate strategic alternatives, and guide clients through complex decisions from initial preparation through closing. He oversees all aspects of transaction execution, including financial analysis, marketing materials, buyer outreach, due diligence, negotiations, and coordination among key stakeholders. As a senior member of the deal team, James serves as a trusted advisor to clients, helping lead transaction processes, manage key relationships, and drive successful outcomes.

Prior to joining PGP, he worked at Lincoln International as an Investment Banking Associate. He decided to join PGP because of their experience and reputation within the healthcare services space and the focus and emphasis that is put on facilitating successful, long-term partnerships between sellers and buyers. During his career as an investment banker, James has completed over 25 transactions across physician services, outpatient and ancillary services, behavioral health, and other healthcare verticals.

James is from Crystal Lake, Illinois. During his downtime, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, playing golf, and watching Chicago sports.

James graduated from DePaul University with a major in Finance and a minor in Accounting.
