Jake Dangovian

Jake Dangovian is a Vice President at PGP, where he advises healthcare companies and physician groups on private equity partnerships and strategic transactions. Jake works closely with clients and senior leadership throughout the transaction process, providing strategic guidance, overseeing transaction execution, and helping clients navigate key decisions from initial preparation through closing. His responsibilities include managing financial analysis, marketing materials, buyer outreach, due diligence, negotiations, and coordination among key stakeholders. Jake serves as a trusted extension of the client’s management team, helping lead transaction processes and ensure they are executed efficiently and successfully.

Jake has experience in various accounting and finance roles, with an extensive background in real estate and private investments. Prior to joining PGP, Jake served as Vice President of Finance at a real estate development company and started his career in public accounting as a CPA. Jake has always had a strong personal connection to healthcare, having gained early exposure to the industry through his involvement in the financial reporting and analysis of his family’s medical practice. He joined PGP for the opportunity to combine his finance experience with his connection to healthcare, helping physician founders navigate complex transactions and achieve successful outcomes. He was drawn to PGP’s position as a leading healthcare advisor and the firm’s hands-on, client-first approach to guiding founders through some of the most important decisions of their careers.

Jake is originally from Birmingham, Michigan and currently resides in Chicago. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his fiancee and dog, playing golf, trying new restaurants, rooting for Detroit sports teams, and traveling.  

Jake holds a B.A. in Accounting and an M.B.A. in Finance from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business..
